【PERSONAL STORY】Personal Story

While supervising dam construction sites for a general contractor, Nishikawa became fascinated by the profound mysteries of the human body.
Even after opening his own osteopathic clinic and achieving monthly sales of 6.5 million yen, he continued to face patients and realized something.
"The root of physical ailments lies in how we use our minds."

This conviction led to his decision to become a monk at the age of 37.

He entered a Shingon Buddhist temple and began his Shugendo training at Daigoji Temple in Kyoto.

After 10 years of spending time in the mountains, using his body, and continuously facing nature,
he completed the training of the Tozan-ha Shugendo school. This is an extremely rare career path in modern times.

Next, he turned his attention to "food."

Driven by a desire to grow food that could be eaten with peace of mind, he began farming on land owned by an NPO in Akiruno City.
It was there that he met Mr. Miyairi.
Deeply resonating with his philosophy of "trust capitalism," he decided to join him.
Now, as COO of Tokyo Yamagawa DMC, he oversees agriculture, travel, and subsidy programs, while continuing to convey the essence of "food, health, and nature" to children through rice paddies and fields.
